THANKYOU EVERYONE for all those messages that was SO sweet of you all.
Hope mutz and Lassie and Lilacs (hope the alcohol dulled the pain- poor you!) had a happy one-

We did have rather a wild night ( meal, to the pub and back to friends') due to a wind - up snail racing game ; the slowest snails owner has drink up and my snail was tampered with
Had a conversation when I got to the pub with some people who remembered me as a witness though; put them all straight on that one ! and spread the word about the paedophile problems- all of the people I told were appalled and work with witnesses, who they now want to tackle as it's in the news here a lot with the catholic church... so maybe i'll get some interesting feedback
Sorry I did'nt get back until now- we went away the day after...

I hav'nt been involved in any religion since leaving. I did feel worried at first that I could'nt 'choose' a new one; but after a while I didn't feel the need or pull (or was that guilt?)
I like to think that I try to live by good principles; nowadays I just make sure I don't hurt anyone and i'm kind to children and small animals
If I am answerable to a god I hope he's not too disappointed at what he sees, and if Jesus does return, visibly, i'll have to believe, won't I ?!
It always seemed so odd that a god so desperate for 'all' to repent should make the religion of his choice so difficult to stay in...
The WTBS took away any of my desire for religion - ironic that, is'nt it ?

carla and paula's mother has just passed away.
carla said that paula had been checking her post on and off all through the night and that it gave her much comfort in knowing that so many replied and showed that they cared.

Thinking of you both , and hope you're coping with everything- especially during these awful 'lost' days before the funeral.
my mother lost to cancer too; but it's wonderful to now have finally reached the time when I can look back in to my memories and smile a little.
